W

elcome to the next free online E-Book.  This E-Book covers the Buffalo Nickel Series.  This series is short encompassing just 259 listed die marriages in the CONECA Variety Files.  This includes 39 DDOs, 44 DDRs, 101 RPMs, and 5 OMMs, all of which are detailed in the pages which follow.

This E-Book is complete.

I am also seeking specimens of the 1914/3.  Any help would be appreciated.  Please email me if you would be willing to allow me access to your coin(s).  I don't currently consider them to be doubled dies, but I am continuing my research in hopes of running across a nice EDS in mint state which would help me make up my mind which way the evidence is leaning.

The current research on the 1914/3 dies can be found here.

A Special Note concerning The Value and Population Guide.
No attempt has been made to maintain this section of the book.  It is simply a place holder to continued research.

A Buffalo Nickel set of die varieties has yet to be completed.

Maybe you'll be the first!
